About (original language)

Innovation and Gender. Inger Danilda & Jennie Granat Thorslund (eds).Stockholm 2011. 98 p.Why does gender diversity matter when it comes to product and service innovation? What has research shown? And what does hard-won experience tell us?

With good examples from Sweden and Norway, Innovation & Gender show how businesses gain a competitive edge by integrating a gender perspective into their innovation work – a much needed boost as global competition becomes increasingly tough.

This book is the result of a collaboration project between two countries, Norway and Sweden and three different public agencies, Innovation Norway, Tillväxtverket - the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth and VINNOVA - Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems. Common to all these agencies is a mission to increase growth by innovation.
