GenPORT / EIGE Gender Taxonomy Workshop

The fourth Concertation Meeting organized by GenPORT is a joint effort with the European Institute of Gender Equality (EIGE) to bring together experts on gender equality, library sciences and ontology experts in order to discuss a common approach to a gender (equality) taxonomy.  Several EU initiatives, including the GenPORT Gender & Science Taxonomy as well as the EIGE Glossary among others are currently being developed. The workshop has the objective to identify common needs and a roadmap to better integrate those initiatives to improve the coordination of gender (equality) resources across Europe and beyond.

The event shares the venue with the Gender Summit 9 Europe.
