2022-2026 The Second Equality Plan of Miguel Hernández University of Elche (Spain) is a strategic institutional document aimed at promoting gender equality and equal opportunities across the university. It is based on a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of staff and students, examining areas such as recruitment, professional promotion, pay, working conditions, work–life balance, female representation in decision-making bodies, and the prevention of sexual harassment and gender-based violence. Drawing on international, European, Spanish, and Valencian equality legislation, the plan establishes six strategic areas with specific objectives and actions, alongside mechanisms for implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
