About you (please use English)
I have worked in various labor market sectors on projects generally related to gender, race/ethnicity, and sometimes social class. Trained in both industrial and systems engineering and sociology, my work involves blending deep knowledge of social processes (like gender and other dimensions of difference) with the search for strong methods of understanding. I also like to be familiar with many sources of data and to make graphs to see what stories the data will tell!

Skills and track record
Gender analysis skills - since 1993 I have been doing analysis (qualitative and quantitative) using multiple methodological approaches to understand gender and engineering and science, with numerous publications and presentations (national and international) that look at preparation for careers (and the academic structures that are associated with these processes), as well as career progression once college is completed and including academic careers of scientists and engineers.
Advocacy: led funded programs to increase recruitment, retention and advancement of women in academic science and engineering and then have performed cross-case analyses to better understand how institutional transformation can be enhanced to improve gender equity; Have worked with multiple NGOs - U.S. and international - on projects related to this topic. Multiple research presentations, articles, etc. (Since 2000)
Program evaluation: With my knowledge of existing data sets and analytical skills, I pull together elements from multiple sources to provide benchmarking in evaluation studies; designed and implemented program evaluations deploying multiple research methods since 1999.
