About you (please use English)
Lidia Arroyo is the community manager of GenPORT and a researcher at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3 – UOC) in Barcelona, Spain where he forms part of the Gender and ICT research program. She holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in Sociology Doctoral Programme and a degree in Sociology (UAB). She is finalising her PhD Thesis about digital skills for employability from a gender perspective at UOC. She has been a visiting research fellow at Área de Género, Sociedad y Políticas (FLACSO-Argentina) and the Fondation Travail-Univeristé (FTU-Namur)- Unversity of Namur (Belgium). Her researches, based on mixed methods, focus on communication and ICT, gender and work, and prevention of gender violence in young people. In 2011, she was awarded the Young Sociologist Prize from the Associació Catalana de Sociologia- Institut d’Estudis Catalans. She also worked at Generalitat de Catalunya as a technician responsible for the Employment Measures for Youth and data analyst on gender equality in labour market.
