Full Professor of Applied Economics and Director of a Masters Program on Gender Equality at the Complutense University (Madrid ). Researcher in Gender and Science issues, participating in different initiatives at the International, European Commission and Spanish level.
Since 1996 I have adopted for my studies and research the gender perspective. In a first stage, about industrial gender gaps in Spanish labour market. From 2005on, on the analysis of the digital gender gap, differences in access, use and skills among women and men in relation to information technology and the difficulties of access and permanence of women studies and ICT-related jobs. Since 2008, to the field of gender and science, and particularly STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
