Member of the Mexican network for science, technology and gender.
I was born in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. Professional in Linguistics and literature from the University of Cartagena. Master in Latin American studies (UNAM). Diploma in "kitchens and culture food in Mexico" (ENAH).
I research on the literature produced by women in Latin America, especially in the Hispanic Caribbean during the 19th century. I've been on the subject of food culture, gender and memory in Latin America and currently development project "silenced experiences:"Silenced experiences: women Afro-descendants in the kitchens of Mexico and Colombia"
