Lessons from Linköping: putting gender on the agenda

The Centre for Gender Medicine have invited two thought-leaders to share their experiences of how to put gender on the agenda within the field of medicine.

Gillian Einstein's lecture is titled: Multidisciplinary research into the effects of oophorectomy on cognition and well-being: A Linköping University Project in Gender Medicine.

Nina Lykke presents her current research: Cancer Cultures, gender and intersectionality

Gillian Einstein is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology, University of Toronto & Visiting Professor of Neuroscience and Gender Medicine, Linköping University

Nina Lykke is professor of Gender Studies with special reference to Gender and Culture at Linköping University. She is also a director of an international Centre of Gender Excellence,GEXcel, as well as scientific leader of a Nordic and a Swedish-International Research School in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies. She has extensive international experience from numerous cross-national projects and networks in gender research and education in Gender Studies.
