Submitted by Laura Getz on Mon, 01/25/2016 - 15:12

Women Techmakers Vienna is part of an international event series initiated by Google with the goal to make women in tech more visible.

The target group is people working or interested in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), both women and men.

2x2h workshops for kids (age 10 and older) starting at 10:45 and 13:45 are also offered. Kids need no previous knowledge of computer programming, but should know how to use a computer mouse and should possess the ability to read simple words in english language. Knowledge of how to operate computer paint programs is helpful. Children can participate at both workshops or choose one which suits their time better.
