El Parque de Investigación Biomédica de Barcelona (PRBB) es uno de los mayores clústeres de investigación biomédica del sur de Europa. Alberga seis centros públicos de investigación centrados en la biomedicina: IMIM, CRG, DCEXS-UPF, ISGlobal, IBE y EMBL Barcelona.

Como centro de investigación excelente, el PRBB tiene como objetivo proporcionar un entorno que apoye a todos y todas las científicos. Nos enorgullecemos de ser una comunidad diversa y que se esfuerza por promover la igualdad de oportunidades para que todos se desarrollen profesional y académicamente, y para lograr un buen equilibrio y bienestar entre el trabajo y la vida.

Con el fin de mejorar la igualdad de género en el PRBB, se han realizado y continúan desarrollándose varias acciones. Cada uno de los centros del PRBB tiene iniciativas específicas. Con miembros de los seis centros del parque, el Comité EDI está a cargo de catalizar el desarrollo de iniciativas y actividades interinstitucionales para crear conciencia y promover un entorno real de igualdad de oportunidades en todo el parque.

The Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) is one of the largest clusters of biomedical research in the south of Europe. It hosts six public research centres focused on biomedicine: IMIM, CRG, DCEXS-UPF, ISGlobal, IBE and EMBL Barcelona. As a hub of excellent research, the PRBB aims to provide an environment that supports all scientists. We proud ourselves on being a diverse community, and one that strives to promote equal opportunities for everyone to develop professionally and academically, and to achieve a good work-life balance and well-being. In order to improve gender equality at the PRBB, several actions have taken place, and continue to be developed. Each of the PRBB centres have specific initiatives, such as mentoring, gender bias training, or gender-sensitive recruitment guidelines. With members from all six centres at the park, the EDI Committee is in charge of catalysing the development of cross-institute initiatives and activities to raise awareness and promote a real equal opportunities environment in the whole park.
