About (English version)

This new, illustrated primer explains what feminist intersectionality is and why it is important. An important resource for organizations, activists, educators, and students alike, this primer will help you to better understand inequality, and then take smarter action to address it.

The Feminist Intersectionality Primer situates women’s experiences of inequality in a broad web of power relations, rooted in systems of power such as racism, classism, ableism, and heterosexism. Intersectionality provides a framework to analyze the profound inequalities embedded in our systems and structures, which many women face in multiple and intersecting forms at the same time.

There is no more urgent time than now to embrace intersectionality in our ways of thinking, mobilization, and action.
