The Centre promotes an active interdisciplinary research culture via two research groups; post-doctoral and PhD programmes; taught MA in Gender, Culture & Society, post-graduate seminar series; reading groups; colloquia, conferences and other events; The aim is to develop Gender, Culture & Society teaching via specific modules in undergraduate programmes and by ‘mainstreaming’ the study of gender and sexuality in a wide range of programmes throughout the university; And to build on and expand scholarly links and collaborative research with colleagues across faculties at UL, in other universities in Ireland and internationally; As well as continue to develop and expand our research consortium with colleagues in NUI Galway via Gender ARC (http://www.genderarc.org/)
