Science in a Different Voice

The EU project Diva: Science in a different Voice aimed to improve gender equal opportunities in the scientific sector. DIVA envisaged an integrated approach at local level where different target groups (scientists, students, policy makers) were involved in various activities in order to sensitise them to the issue of equal opportunities in science. The project intended to create the necessary favourable environment for gender mainstreaming in science in the places where scientific activities are planned and carried on, in the educational setting in order to promote amongst high school female students a friendly image of science and scientific career, in political environment so to accelerate the adoption of initiatives favouring equal opportunities in Science.
