Hypatia - Good Practices On Gender Inclusion In STEM Communication

This report concerns a number of gender-inclusive science education activities designed by European science centres, museums, research institutions, industrial institutions, and other science education institutions. The 49 science education activities were reported by institutions from 14 European countries, all Partners or Third Parties in the project Hypatia. The report begins by briefly introducing the gender inclusion framework developed earlier in the project Hypatia. Then, the 49 collected activities are summarised in terms of stakeholder involvement, content, format, and intended audience. The activities are then analysed in terms of the gender inclusion framework. This analysis allows for the identification of good practices for each of the ten identified activity formats. For each of the ten formats, areas for further consideration are also identified. A complete list of the reported activities can be found as an annex to this document.
