Since 1992, I have been involved in promotion of engineering and STEM more generally for girls and women, working as a volunteer with several women in STEM NGOs.
Since 2010, I have been engaged in innovation programmes and supporting best practice in technical and vocational education and training across the science, tech and engineering sectors. This included ensuring this was open to all and challenging gender stereotypes; driving diversity for innovation. Nominated an EU expert in gender and STEM education.
Deputy President of INWES, International Network of Women Engineers & Scientists, 2017-2020.
