I'm a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow in the field of Gender Studies and Cultural Anaysis (2022). I gained my PhD in Cultural Analysis from the University of Urbino (Italy). Since gaining my PhD, I have continued to publish in peer-reviewed journals and have developed a track record in the field of Cultural Analysis. Alongside my research in Middle Eastern and Kurdish Studies, I am an interdisciplinary academic and work on a variety of topics such as cultural production in one’s homeland and the diaspora, and gender. My past research identified the gender dimension embedded within modern literature and society, which had previously been ignored. My current work sits at the intersection of sociology and cultural analysis, and its symbiotic relevance to modern society
