Barbara Biglia (PhD in psychology, 2006) is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pedagogy. She is the coordinator of SIMReF (Interdisciplinary Seminar on Feminist Research Methodology), a research and teaching group focused on exploring feminist methodologies of knowledge production, which are focused on the transformation of both 'science' and 'society'. Her main research topics relate to the broad area of feminism, and range from feminist epistemology and methodology to subjectivities, social transformation, gender related violences and critical pedagogy. She often employs an Action Research methodology and also works on programme evaluation and is an expert in qualitative research, in particular discourse analysis and narrative creation.
