BETTACHY MINA
Professor- researcher in a Faculty of Science Ben M’sik (University - Hassan-II- Casablanca- Morocco). Vice President of Laboratory of Physics of Polymers and Critical Phenomena. I taught different subjects in physics at several levels. I contributed to the development of several academic training and creation of undergraduate and masters and applied degrees (professional license): the latters ; a professional license of plastics (2009) and a master entitled : matter and radiation since 2005. Currently I am part of a research group working on the modeling of a number of problems in the field of polymer physics and soft matter.

Skills and track record
I am very interested in gender issue. I participated actively in various committees for the change of status of women in the family in Morocco. I am also very involved in the issue of under-representation of women in science.
Towards changing the gender gaps in the scientific field in Morocco, I have contributed, with some colleagues, to create in June 2006 the Association: Women in Science in Morocco - AFSM- which I am the Chair. The principle mission of this association is the contribution to the achievement of equality between women and men in Morocco particularly in science and work to promote the careers of women scientists.
Among AFSM objectives, we are interested to cooperate and coordinate actions with the organizations adopting gender concept.
Member of euro- Mediterranean project – SHEMERA (2012-2014)- as Expert in science and technology.
Member of Gender STE network.
Membrer of IUPAP (International Union Of Pure and Applied Physics) - Working Group on Women in Physics. I am the coordinator of Women in Physics Group in Morocco (member of ICWIP ; International Conference on Women in Physics- Seoul 2008, South Africa 2011, Canada 2014 and UK July 2016).
Since 2012, I am a member of Women's Solidarity Network for Equality whose objective is
Strengthening Women's Leadership in Moroccan Trade Unions as part of a project in partnership with KVINFO (Denmark).
