Strategy and Policy Executive in Research and Innovation, and a member of the European Research Area and Innovation Committee since 2014. Was involved in the design of the ERA Roadmap and the identifications of indicators for monitoring ERA priorities, including the 4th Priority on Gender Equality and Mainstreaming in Research and Innovation. Consulted and wrote Malta's National ERA Action Plans, including Malta's objectives on achieving Gender Balance. Member of the Helsinki Group on Gender in Research and Innovation and part of the rapporteur team developing Joint Guidelines on a Gender Perspective for International cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation
