Women@TUoS

About (original language):

Established in 2012, the NETwork aims to support women staff in their career development by acting as a forum for discussion and a unified voice to help raise issues and address career challenges that women face.  The NETwork provides informal mentoring and networking opportunities, access to a range of role models, and a variety of initiatives to improve retention and promotion for women.

It is open to academic, research, teaching and professional services staff.  The Network has it roots in the Faculties of Science and Engineering, but is relevant to women across the University and welcomes all interested parties to join and get involved.

The NETwork is a member-led initiative, run by women for women, but where appropriate male staff are welcome to attend events, participate in activities or submit comments.

If you would like to become a member of the NETwork, please contact Rachel Myers, r.myers@sheffield.ac.uk, who will add you to the mailing list.
