About you (please use English):
I am Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. With research interests in digital technologies, epistemology, higher education, and gender, my latest publications focus on postdisciplinarity, social media and gender in academia. Over the years, I have served on several national and international boards and networks. Nowadays, I hold positions at the Diversity and Inclusion Council at Copenhagen Business School, the Critical Tourism Studies Network, Women Academics in Tourism and several tourism journals. I am engaged in curriculum and education development, and coordinate the tourism and hospitality concentration at the Bachelor of Service Management and Business Administration.
Besides my research publications on gender in higher education, I have developed and conducted workshops at conferences and universities on gender, intersectionality and meritocracy; unconscious and implicit bias; gender gap in academia; gender epistemologies. As active board member of different tourism academic networks and associations I have developed guidelines for gender equality in conferences and publications, and given numerous presentations and keynotes on the topic. For years I have been very active in debates and awareness raising initiatives in international tourism research networks . I am one of the administrators of Women academics in tourism, an online community with over 300 members which is a forum for debate and dialogue regarding gender in academia. I am also a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council at Copenhagen Business School where I have helped to develop an action plan and a series of policies and initiatives for gender equality. My latest report is entitled "Gender and Leadership Practices in Copenhagen Business School" and can be accessed here http://research.cbs.dk/en/publications/uuid(13f3a16c-7ef8-4dc5-bbb7-6e7f7744ae9b).html . At the moment I am the coordinating editor of a journal special issue entitled "Gender and the Tourism Academy" which will be published in 2017
