About you (please use English):
Prof. Elsa Fontainha holds a PhD in economics. Currently she is the Team Leader at ISEG Lisbon School of Economics and Management, Universidade de Lisboa of the Horizon2020 Project Promoting gender balance and inclusion in research, innovation and training (PLOTINA), Grant Agreement: 666008 (H2020-GERI-2014-2015/H2020-GERI-2014-1). The PLOTINA Project (2016-2020) is coordinated by the University of Bologna.
Main research interests: well-being, gender, and household economics and finance. She has a long and rich experience on interdisciplinary and international research collaboration and coauthoring. She received a Distinguish Scholarships Scheme (2013) from the Information School of University of Sheffield (UK). She spent her sabbatical at St. Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada. She was a recipient of a Canadian Studies Faculty Research Award. She has been the coordinator/team member of multi-institutional and interdisciplinary projects funded by the British Council (2009–2011), the International Council for Canadian Studies (2008).She is co-editor and author of several entries in Encyclopedia of Quality of Life and Well-Being Research (10 volumes), Springer. She teaches and is responsible for the course of Economics of Household and Household Finance since 2013/2014. Her publications include scholarly articles in: Review of Economics of the Household, Journal of Economics of Ageing, Journal of Informetrics, Information Research, Library High Tech, Technological and Economic Development of Economy, eLearning Papers - European Commission, European Review of Labour and Research, and Cadernos Sociedade e Trabalho and forthcoming in . She has also published in Thomson Reuters indexed books: (2010) Learning and Instruction in the Digital Age, Springer; (2010) Enterprise Information Systems, Springer; (2011) Information Systems and Technologies; (2014) Encyclopedia of Quality of Life and Well-Being Research, Springer; and Procedia Technology, Elsevier.She co-authored two economics textbooks and some book chapters.
