Submitted by Vasia Madesi on Wed, 03/17/2021 - 13:05

Registration is open!

WHY:  This online Summer School will focus on gender research in cities and planning processes. It will look at the gender dimensions of urban and transportation research, considering in particular gendered-relevant aspects of important cross-cutting issues such as climate, energy and ICT at the urban scale.

It aims to provide participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to explore how gender affects their existing or proposed research and to understand what it means to integrate a gender perspective into research and what it implies.

During 4 days, keynote talks, seminars, debates and work on real cases will be carried out in order to actively involve the participants, fostering an exchange of knowledge and experiences. The purpose is to create the basis to apply in a practical way what has been learned.

FOR WHOM:

  • Researchers in the scientific groups of climate, energy and ICT at the urban scale.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The maximum number of participants is 24. As seats are not unlimited, priority will be given to candidates corresponding to the target groups (please, check above "FOR WHOM") and those residing in the EU Member States and Associated countries. Following your registration, an e-mail of confirmation of participation will be sent. Thank you for your understanding.
