Vasia Madesi is Project Manager at ViLabs. She holds a MSc degree in Political Theory and Philosophy from the faculty of Political Sciences of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Sciences also from AUTH.
Interested in cross-cultural dialogue, she obtained the United Nations Advanced Facilitation Training Certification to empower young adults to engage with difference constructively and she practices facilitation for the European Refugees virtual exchange programme by the Sharing Perspectives Foundation. Since 2014, she has been trained as a political research analyst, she has worked as a Research assistant in AUTH for the Hellenic Voter Study and she is currently working as Project manager for several EU projects. She is the Communication Manager of three H2020 projects (EQUAL-IST, WeHubs, SavingFood) and the Project Coordinator of the Startup Lighthouse project, which is funded under the Startup Europe Initiative and the Deputy Coordinator of the Gender Equality Academy project (known as GE Academy).
She has a particular interest in European studies, gender studies, populism, discourse theory, and political communications.
