NIH Interdisciplinary Women’s Health Research Symposium

Submitted by Henrietta Dale on Wed, 10/01/2014 - 10:37

11th Annual Interdisciplinary Women’s Health Research Symposium, focused this year on “Sex Differences Methodology and Reporting.” Keynotes include Dr. David Page of MIT’s Whitehead Institute and NIDA Director Dr. Nora Volkow — both well-known champions of why sex is an important consideration in biomedical research design from cells to selves. The symposium also features the latest research findings and approaches from ORWH’s longstanding interdisciplinary research programs. *Pending HHS approval. Register and learn more!

Convened annually, the symposium showcases research from two ORWH signature initiatives: the Specialized Centers of Research (SCOR) on Sex and Gender Factors Affecting Women’s Health and the Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health (BIRCWH) program.
