The purpose of this Vademecum is to provide the Commission/ Agency staff, potential applicants, the Helsinki Group as well as experts evaluators and other actors involved in the implementation of Horizon 2020 with practical guidance on how to apply the new Gender Equality provisions effectively. This means integrating Gender Equality issues at each stage of the research cycle: from programming through implementation, monitoring and programme evaluation.
