Especially concerning women, in its Work Programme the Austrian Federal Government itemizes the challenges and measures to achieve the following four objectives:
- drive forwards the development of gender budgeting and the provision of counselling and support services for women
- equal treatment of women in the labour market
- increase the security and safety of women
- Women’s Health Action Plan
- further develop equal treatment law and equal treatment instruments
