Profesionales STEM en ciencia: Personal de apoyo en CONICET Argentina
Esta propuesta de investigación, tiene la intención de visibilizar las problemáticas laborales, de los trabajadores #STEM, que se desempeñan como #PersonalDeApoyoEnCiencia. Más específicamente, se estará focalizando en los miembros de la #CarreraDelPersonalDeApoyo de #CONICET (Argentina), aunque se espera que en el futuro se pueda ampliar la investigación a otras instituciones.
Considero que la estructura de recursos humanos de CONICET en su totalidad, debido al modelo de organización taylorista, cumple un rol dentro de la producción y transferencia a la sociedad del conocimiento científico, siendo necesario profundizar el entendimiento de las relaciones entre distintos actores, ampliando el esquema de análisis lineal: Becario/a Doctoral- Carrera del Investigador/a, para proponer mejoras organizativas que no sólo mejoren la productividad, sino también para generar ambientes justos, sanos y equitativos de trabajo.

I am Daniela Alejandra Pastor, I work at CONICET-Argentina as research support staff, I have a degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology graduated from the UNLP, a Postgraduate degree: Specialist in Technology and Innovation Management Graduated from the UNMdP and I am carrying out my studies for access the Doctorate degree in Social Sciences, on the topic of gender and science, from the perspective of support staff.

This research proposal aims to make visible the labor barriers and difficulties of #ProfessionalsSTEM, who work as #ResearchSupportStaff. More specifically, it will be focusing on this population in CONICET Argentina, although it is expected that in the future the research can be expanded to other institutions.
Due to the Taylorist model of human resources organization in CONICET, it is considered that every employee plays a role in the production and transfer of scientific knowledge to society. This makes it necessary to deepen the understanding of the relationships between different actors, expanding the linear analysis scheme: Doctoral Scholar - Researcher's Career, to propose organizational improvements that not only enhance productivity, but also to generate fair, healthy and equitable work environments.

I am carrying out my doctoral studies about STEM professions in science, from the perspective of research support staff. My progress is my Specialization Thesis, titled: Science and gender indicators for Research Suport Staff of CONICET-Argentina (https://doi.org/10.6084/m9.figshare.25537705.v1). And I would like to work collaboratively with groups interested in the topic.
