I am a gynaecologist oncologist, I work in a large university hospital, the Gemelli Hospital in Rome, and I am an associate professor at the Catholic University of Rome.
I have been working for 25 years alongside women in the fight against tumours of the external female organs (breast and vulvar cancers).
I have long been interested in the broad topic of gender medicine and in Italy I am working on implementing a gender approach to medicine in the health service.
