About (English version):
The White Paper on the position of Women in Science in Spain provides empirical evidence of the presence of men and women in our scientific system, and the driving force behind it is the Women and Science Unit of the Ministry of Science and Innovation with contributions by professionals of great renown in econometrics in our country. The data that can be systematically examined here shows us the true panorama with its bright spots and more murky areas. It shows us the advances that have been made, but also the difficulties we still have to face.
This report (HPA-CRCE-028) examines the lifetime risk of radiation-induced cancer to the patient and the risk of harmful heritable effects in their children.
The feminisation of the student population is one of the most striking aspects of the last 30 years. But women are still struggling to progress men in their scientific career. At leadership level, women account for only 18% of full professors and 13% of heads of institutions in the higher education sector. Based on recent scientific findings and research practices, this expert report provides the analysis needed to take action and points to good practices in research institutions which attract and promote women in research and innovation.
