About you (please use English)
Independent researcher with an economic background and a multiyear experience in Gender Budgeting, Gender Mainstreaming and Gender Equality Plans in Universities, Research Institutes, Regions and Municipalities. I work at the European level with skills I could first implement at the territorial level with Universitites, Institutions, NGOs and Corporations. For this reason, I have a very pragmatic, motivated and holistic approach.

Skills and track record
I am an independent researcher, consultant and trainer with a vast experience in gender budgeting and gender mainstreaming strategies.
I work at the European level on European Projects on these issues and.I am currently collaborating with:
- the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia as post-doc researhcer on a project about Gender Equality Plans and Gender Budgeting in Research and Performing Organizations (www.letsgeps.eu),
- the European University Institute as a trainer on Gender Budgeting for the EUCom - DGBudget.
- Expertise France as external expert for Portugal and Greece within the Flagship project of the DG Reform on "Gender Mainstreaming in public policy and budget processes - https://commission.europa.eu/system/files/2021-06/b1_-_gender_mainstreaming.pdf).
My experience at the European level on Gender Budgeting and Gender Mainstreaming stems from a bottom-up career that started in 2003: I have been of the first experts to work on Gender Budgeting in Italy at the territorial level starting from 2003. Since then I have implemented about 40 Gender Budgeting projects in Italian Regions, Provinces and Municipalities. At the national level I have developed the Gender Budgeting project of the Italian Research Institute for labour policies (INAPP).
I am also a co-author of several scientific publications on this topic.
Previously I was an analyst of policies and statistics of the local labour market and a researcher with NGOs on topics like the mothers’ condition in Italy, and the policies to prevent violence against women and child maltreatment.
I am a co-founder of the blog www.ladynomics.it for the dissemination of gender economics and gender budgeting.
