Divna Vuckovic (F), Vice-president at Intersection, working with science promotion and having extensive experience from ICT industry, research in the fields of telecommunication systems and networks and regulatory framework. Her special focus is on Responsible Research and Innovation, particularly gender issues in research, and popularization of science and technology careers for young people, especially girls. Vice-president and co-founder of CSO Equal Opportunities, member of Women’s Government and member of the EC COST GenderSTE Management Committee. Her special interest is in exploring the usage of latest mobile and social networking technologies for empowering women and improving and enriching their lives, businesses and social skills.

Divna Vuckovic was working in ICT sector for more than 30 years and at the same time was working with qender equality issues related to under representation of women in ICT sector, especially in decision making positions, and also was researching the ways how the new technologies could benefit to the advancement of women in general. Vuckovic participated in several EU research funded projects with a special focus on RRI and gender issues in research and innovation. In past few years Vuckovic is working with science promotion and popularization and running activities to inspire women and girls to choose science and technology careers. Vuckovic is the author of a number of books and papers in national and international journals and conferences and different contributions in the area of impact of the use of ICT on improving gender balance and women’s quality of life.
