I have been doing my PhD in Sociology and in the Institute for Housing and Urban Research in Uppsala University, Sweden. My thesis title is Gendered Urban Public Spaces: The Gendered Political Discourse in Turkey and the Everyday Social production of Taksim. Before my PhD I have worked several EU projects in Istanbul.
