Gender Bias, is a service that includes abstracts of articles focused on evidence based knowledge about differences by sex in the main health problems and specially in those problems specific of women, since 2003.
These abstracts came from MEDLINE and Additional Social and life Science journals.
Gender Bias includes links to a wide range of web providing information about glossaries, organizations and institutions, grants, and other related resources in women's health and from a gender perspective.
For the first time, core feminist texts from the second wave of feminism in Europe have been made available to researchers in an easily accessible online database. The FRAGEN project brings together books, articles and pamphlets that were influential in the development of feminist ideas in 29 countries during the second half of the 20th century.
The aim of the project is to facilitate comparative research into the history of feminist thinking in 27 EU countries plus Croatia and Turkey. The database is launched to the international research community in 2011. We hope to continue this project. FRAGEN is part of the European research project QUING (Quality in Gender + Equality Politics), FP6 Integrated project 2006-2011.
